Given a chance to change something on HubPages, What would you change and Why?

Hubpages is a great tool, but in my opinion lot more can be done to make it more better and useful. Think of any wild Ideas which can help us transform hubpages into the next big thing on the web.

Hello viquar, If I could change one thing with HubPages it would be to make HubPages  ad payment scheme independent of Google AdSense.

I see many people who come here, can't get a Google AdSense account and leave unhappy.

Tieing itself to Google in such a way is ok for a new company but as HubPages is fast maturing, I think it needs to break its ties to Google for revenue sharing purposes.

HubPages could have a minimum period where a hubber may build a portfolio and show they can produce quality hubs. They could set a minimum quality of hubscore for the purpose of revenue sharing, but if a hubber did not wish to use Google AdSense they would be able to choose to use HubPages alone.

Googles Pay Per Click model makes earning money harder for writers. Pay Per View ads though paying less per item however are more profitable for the writer if they gain higher viewing figures.

I think such a policy would also favor HubPages in the long run.  Happier writers, more revenue and less dependence on a very fickle master, Google.

i would make it so that it wasn't censored so much. many topics can't be used on here and it sucks. the people who moderate things don't seem to see the need to say why a question was removed, they just do it.
