Is there is anything such as level IX commentator?
I'm a level VIII commentator, but I have never seen a level IX commentator on hubpages.
No there isn't. VIII is the top level. I'm not sure if the site will change its mind and more levels at a later date.
I've been wondering that, too. I've been stuck on 7 for so long, I was beginning to wonder if they got rid of VIII. haha
No, level IX commentators don't exist! I have only seen level VII!
There are only VIII levels that you can reach as a commentator. It does take a lot of comments to get there I guess.

How does Hubpages determine if you become a level 1,2,3, etc. commentator? Is it based on the number of hubs you comment on? The quality of your comments? If you comment on different people? Does anybody know? I'm just curious...

Why has my commentator level been reduced to level 7 from level 8.Who decides these things anyway? Is there a set criteria. If so what is it, so that new hubbers can follow if they wish.
