Why did Hub Pages choose contest winners with grammatically incorrect titles?
They stated clearly in their rules section that Hub entries to the Know It All Contest must be grammatically correct to win, yet I have seen at least one example of a winning Hub that was anything but!??
I just looked at all of the winners again and didn't see anything that would really be wrong? Some people shorten titles for their hubs because it gets the best search results, but I don't know which ones you are referring to.
"How learning could be fun for kids?"
I found grammatical errors in days 4, 5, 7, 8, and week 2 (which is where I ended my search.) I assume there are probably more grammatical errors as well.
Perhaps the standards have gotten so low that not even the people running the contest know the difference between correct and incorrect grammar and simple sentence structure.
Quite sad that 1) It's so endemic, and 2) Nobody even notices anymore.
They even missed the correct capitalization in some of the titles...That kinda sucks for all of the people who worked hard and submitted entries that were properly edited.
LOL these are the daily winners.. selected by a lucky draw.. the only eligibility criteria right now is the 500 word mark.. the rest is for the final winners. That is what I understand... probably a good reading of the rules would help.
