I want to increase external traffic to my hubs . Any suggestion on where should I start creating backlinks to my hubs?
Also suggest other methods of increasing traffic to hubpages !
I think the best place to start is here: http://www.seofaststart.com/
You can use free traffic sites, post in high traffic forums with your signature, use other free sites like hub pages- squidoo, usfreeads and ezine articles. These are all very high pr sites google loves all three of them.
Misha thanks for the article sfofaststart. Enjoyed reading his
rant on the history of the web. I had one of the first 409 Chevys long time ago - 60 mph in first - 4 on the floor. So know what you mean.
I agree with luther... Be eager to post your link or articles or blogs in different sites which has high PR . Like Squidoo, and forums.
I just looked at the hubs you created. Don't you find it ironic that you are trying to teach people how to make money online, and at the same time you are asking how to bring traffic to your hubs?
Isn't bringing traffic a serious part of making money online that you are supposed to know before trying to teach others?
What Misha said. He said it much nicer than I would have though
I totally agree to what you just said . I am new to both traffic and online money and hope to learn more about these as I go along
They both sound pretty bad. And talk about the blind leading the blind here
Hah! I would have bought Misha's SNAIL oil - just to see what it was! I already know what Snake oil is!
Thank you, Misha - I would buy your snail oil ! My smile is an 'all-day-er' now!
Thanks for the link, as well, Misha - I am poring over the 'how-to' details of the 'SEO-Process Chart'...now if I don't 'get this' stuff within a few days, you are free to slap me upside the noggin. Or - sell me some snail oil to help me along!
You are welcome
See, Mark, I knew poets would appreciate snail oil

IzzyM and I have been chatting about backlinking, and disagreeing on what's the best way to go about it. She's been spending hours backlinking her Hubs on social bookmarking and backlinking sites, because she feels that's been recommended on the forums by Hub gurus. I'm not at all sure that's...

I just wondered if anyone backlinked their backlinks, like putting Shetoldme links on Reddit for example. I'm seriously running outta ideas of how to get traffic.

Hey folks. I'm a long time member here and an SEO guy by trade. I love this platform and want to support it. I've been digging into Panda data, and I have a few suggestions. Let's work together and 'right the ship!' 1) Start a brand new account today. Fresh content is what Hubpages needs. Google...

Since I finished the apprenticeship, and after umpteen updates and changes made on HP, my traffic has never picked up. I can't remember the last time I saw any more than 40 views a day. My average at the moment is more like 30. The articles I worked long and hard to produce, sit there doing nothing...
