How do you group hubs to show on profile?

I've sorted my hubs into groups but they're not showing on my profile? There is no save txt at the bootom of mu groupings but it is telling me that they are saved after allocating to group.

The groupings that eventually appear on one's profile page are different from the groups do in our account. I'm thinking you will soon see groupings on your profile page. It is done by HP at a certain point, like at 2 months, but I can't quite remember. I wouldn't be surprised if around the time your 8 weeks on HP turns to 2 months, you'll see your profile page with groupings. I think you have enough hubs now, but maybe a few more hubs need to be posted too. This may not be much help, but I think it will happen soon. smile

Hey, great to see the grouping on your profile page has happened smile. Sorry it took so much of your time trying to make something work that you had no control of.

You can do this yourself. I haven't tried it myself, but their is a hub written about it by I think Miss Olive here.

Hubpages will sort them for you, but once you have a large number only some of them will show.

Oh, I just looked, you have groups on your profile. Unfortunately (in my humble opinion) you have no control over which hubs appear on your profile page or how they are grouped.

The author does have control over how they are grouped--i.e. categorized--for the profile page; it's just not obvious. See my separate comment.

There is an important distinction between the "groups" that navigate from the bottom of your hubs and the "categories" that are used on your profile page.

Groups do not appear on your profile page; categories do--five of them at a time. They won't appear on the profile page at all until you write your 15th hub. No hub will appear there unless you have at least two hubs in a category. The subcategories can differ, but it--the HP computer--will look for a lowest common denominator among your hubs so that it can list at least two of a (sub)category.

These categories on the profile page can be manipulated by the category you assign to each hub. Most hubs can be categorized in more than one way, e.g. your hub on Mental Health and Employment. If you re-categorize that under "Business and Employment," it will no longer list with your hub on Bi-polar. In fact, neither will list on the bottom of your profile page unless there you have published at least one more in some subcategory of "Business and Employment" or "Health."

Thankyou for your explanation although I had to read it twice for it to sink in!
