What is the best system to keep your hubs organized, updated, and reply to comments quickly?
What's a good way to keep your hubs organized, updated without scrolling through them everyday and quickly reply to comments? Does anyone have a specific system they use that they wouldn't mind sharing?
Go to the "My Account" page. Under statistics, click "edit groups". You can compile similar hubs into one group.
Likewise, on the left, find "comments". Click it to see all the pending comments, organized by hub.
Using the built-in stats page (for tracking and organizing hubs) and comment page (for replying) is what has always worked for me.
Don't let the horse look over your shoulder...it probably won't speed things up any..
I always go to "my account" look under the "comments" . My hubs comments are always in even numbers. If it is odd numbers.. means I have new comments coming in
Hi Charlu,
Everyday when I sign on at the top right of the page will be the comments section which notifies you if you have new comments. I generally go to them first, read them, comment and then go read one of their hubs and comment back.
Next thing I do is go to "My Account" and check for broken links and fix or eliminate them if needed. I also check Hub Violations...only once was a notice there about a phishing site. Quickly eliminated that even though it looked like a legitimate link. Then I check for copied hubs. Only twice has anything shown up there....even with that recent site that WAS copying many of our hubs.
If you have your hubs categorized into groups...that helps. And now with the date after each hub showing changes made to the hub, it is much easier to keep them updated.
I know that I am in the "Dark Ages"...Ha!...but I also keep a good old yellow legal tablet with the letters A to Z at the top of the page and write down hubs in the right category every time I publish a new hub. I make notes on each one if these things were added: Ebay, Amazon, Videos, whether tweeted, sent to FB, etc.
Many people who keep spread sheets on their computer can probably do this in a neater fashion.
Hope this helps!

Do you find that leaving comments and replying to them increases your stats, or does it take you away (time wise) from writing hubs?

For the last ten days I do not seem to be able to reply to the 12 comments that I have received on various posts. After having read an article and having left a comment, that does not seem to work either. I have mentioned this glitch on the hubpage Facebook pages and now again here. Please...

For years I have been diligent about responding to questions left on my hubs. But now I've discovered comments are being published on my articles without appearing in my Comments section, so I look like I'm rude and ignoring readers who go to the effort of writing.Today I spent ages waiting for...

I post alot of comments and all i know to find out what was said by that hubber in response, if they do respond, is to go to Comments I made and check.Wouldn't it be quicker if we got an email?

Why is it that some writers do not respond to individual comments on their hubs?I noticed this with some writers who have been on HP for two years or more. They will choose to respond directly to some comments and ignore the others. Doesn't it make you feel like not commenting on these writers...

Do you reply back to each person who leaves a comment on your hubs? Please explain the reason why you do or do not. I am wondering if I need to do this or not since I have noticed that some folks do this pretty faithfully.
