I'm being what I "be" every year - a lady who gives out candy when Trick or Treaters knock on the door. It's not very creative, but the costume isn't hard to come up with.
I need one of those buttons.
The only reason I'm being myself on Halloween is that I don't go to any Halloween parties. Wearing a witch's hat to give out candy has occurred to me, but it's also occurred to me that little, tiny, kids are often scared by witch's hats. Clown hair and make-up is a thought, but clowns can just be creepy. So, I'll be my usual, boring, self. your not boring. As a child I celebrated Halloween once. My mother got a costume from a friend, I was a Prince.
My sister cried too much and we went home afer 10 minutes.
we never celebrated again. Where I live now, there are no trick or treaters, becuase its too rural..gas is expensive.. I dont know enough people to make it worth going out with my kids in the cold after dark...and I wont bring them door to door to strangers houses. I get wierded out by that.
SOOOO what we do is the weekend after halloween, we have the kid's friends over for a halloween sleep over. I would LOVE LOVE LVOE to dress up, but I think it would be a rather silly expense, so I never do. No parties for me either. Kids have fun tho!!

oh once my ex boyfriendd was a scarecrow. he sat in a chair in the yard and pretened to be a decoration. SO this kid got real close and was saying..look mommy, this scarecrow looks almsot real!! then my ex jumped up and yelled "rhaaaa..." at this point kids usally screamed, then laughed and then he would give them candy. well, this one kid yelld WTF and kicked him so so so hard in the shin...I thought I was going to DIE laughing. :Lol:
Every year I put my Cher wig on and the trick or treaters think I'm a witch!
