   It's Friday night here and we're enjoying a quiet Friday night. Plus we have a three-day week-end due to the All Soul's and All Saint's days. Bliss!

      Uhm, hubbing and blogging . We're going to set up a mini altar here in the house for my father. Can't go to the cemetery since that is like miles away .

                  Hope you can. Was planning to go to Manila this weekend to visit my father's grave but glad I didn't. There's another typhoon hitting the country this week-end.

                        Yup. Really hope so. Do you know in some areas, even the cemeteries were washed away? Now they are trying to locate the dead's bones and identify them. Bbbbrrrrr, not a good sight.

            Swap houses with me for the weekend then. Tomorrow night sees 4 firework displays within a mile of me making my living room sound like Beiruit, only surpassed by the 2 Alsations, 3 Jack Russells and a half breed dog all barking like crazy all night in the gardens either side of me.
            
            Then last year I got into trouble, some silly kid called at the door waving a tin full of money so naturally I put my hand in and got enough for a bottle of wine, kids Dad was furious. Do you think maybe the kid was looking me to give money, I hate Halloween

               oh that is funny....tomorrow I will go to my friends house near here, a Filipina too, we will go with other children and go trick or treat if it is not raining, then will buy candies for children too, but i love to switch house with you too Mr HealthTip

   I do actually give money to the ones that dress up but not to the lazy ones that actually call with say the hood of their jacket pulled up.
   
   Although the dogs barking annoys me I do actually feel sorry for them as with their hearing it must really be worse for them so I blame their owners for not keeping them in for a few hours.
   
   Jeeeez I am a grumpy old fart ain't I ?, no wonder nobody has invited me to their Halloween parties. My old gran was right when she said " Art for godsake smile you miserable lil git", I loved my old gran, so wise, great insight lol !

      Uh oh, you just reminded me about my dogs who bark like crazy when they hear fireworks going off. Darn, have to think of ways to make them get use to the noise.

      oh I so prefer the whiners at this time of the year than those with a determined 'oh am having such a great time'  look and the fixed smiles, despite the obvious exhaustion on their faces!
      come now let the dead rest in peace (no offence to your old gran!) and let's all go some place quiet for a drink away from all the dogs and chaos!

         Ah but tis Halloween, witches and ghosts so my old Gran might just pop round for the night. As long as the old bag isn't waving a tin in my nose she's well welcome to watch the x factor, well unless she smells a bit.

   Well that just doesn't seem fair--a three day weekend. However, whatever you do, I hope you have a wonderful weekend. Mine will be trying to get another hub together, which is going to be very tough, require a lot of editing and time to consider content. Maybe a Halloween party. We'll see.

       Uhm, it's called commercialization. The suppliers / traders want to create a market for halloween products here in the country so they create the demand also. but I think only those that are well-to-do are copying it. The rest of us, mere mortals, still troop to the cemeteries .
