   The reason I joined Hubpages was simple. I wanted to interact with other writers. Write what I wanted to write and get feedback so I could grow as a writer. I knew that I had a lot to say, and I felt so comfortable doing it here.
   
   I also use Hubpages as a teaching tool. For myself and the kids I mentor. I have learned so much since then. It also gave me the courage to publish my poetry and ask questions.

   WAnted to write in the first place. Hubpages is the best place to write and to learn a lot. Well, and then..to earn, maybe even a little just to have an extra.

   I joined this site to learn, mostly about Christianity, but I have learned a lot more about other things.  There are very good writers here, and I have made a few friends.  I have even printed out a few recipes

   I joined because I wanted to connect with writers from various genre of subject and locaions around the world..I find it intersting learning what/how/why others think..and the fact you have NO knowledge whether they are male/female/age/race/creed/religion/politically/or what their career /position in life..phew..now it is five'o'clock somewhere...mojito time..thanks, great question proposed...

   I joined Hubpages to see if I could earn money while writing about things I'm passionate about.  And I found out I can.  At first it was just a few cents, but it was so exciting to watch the few cents turned into a dollar.  It was like watching your baby grow.  So exciting!

   I've been a frustrated, wanna-be writer/critic for years and thought that this site would be a good place to post some of my deranged ramblings so that people other than my immediate family might actually read them. Mission accomplished!

   The community is more involved, I used to be a part of Triond but it got boring being the only one who'd visit other people's articles for anything other than getting more views on my own stuff. I wanted to actually have discussions in the comments, not useless 3 word comments.
