How could you turn a trending topic into and evergreen Hub?
It depends completely on the topic. It's impossible to turn a Hub about flash-in-the-pan, temporary fad into an evergreen Hub. Or a Hub about a current news item.
If the "trending topic" happens to be about something that's news right now, but is still of interest long-term, that's when you can make it evergreen.
I agree with Marisa. It definitely depends on the topic. If there is long term appeal, consider what other information you can incorporate to keep the interest there over an extended period of time.
It really depends on what the topic is. Well, look at the stories of kids holding up signs that tell the world that they stole from stores, failed classes, or were fresh to teachers. This is a brilliant idea for a Hub on using public humiliation for disciplining children.
But then again, such instances are rare.
