Why are some of my questions being deleted?
I few of my questions have been deleted, and I want to figure out what I've been doing wrong so that no more of them get deleted. Apparently the HP moderator team removed them; were they too similar to other questions? I was asking about the highest amount of views in a day, and on a single article.
I have yet to figure out exactly what they want. They will remove a question that promotes discussion yet don't want short answers. They will also remove a question that is just polling. I once asked if anyone could have what kind of car they wanted what would it be? Removed because it was consider polling.
so I wish I had a definitive answer for you but I really am not sure myself. I mean seriously if they won't want to promote discussion - then why the ability to comment on answers to questions? It is a mystery to me.
Yeah they are pretty random. They've taken a few of mine off, then never touched them when I re-wrote them.
Possible because it would solicit short answers. This is what the FAQ says
"Please note that questions are not to be used for soliciting very short answers or conducting a poll."
i just had one deleted last week. it was about being an atheist and it wasn't insulting to believers , rude or any such thing. i have no idea on why it was deleted and i can't be bothered asking and getting some b.s. answer.
I had a question deleted and it likely was because I was venting about the justice a murderer deserves for killing an innocent young man. However, my sentiment was echoed by several others and I didn't use foul or crude language. Perhaps there is a human screening questions or hubbers that "alert" admin. And because some human in admin or a hubber doesn't like it, it gets deleted.

Why do some people ask a question then delete the answers they don't like?A number of times I've gone back to look at an answer I gave and the questioner has deleted it. Do they wish to embrace censorship or silence the opposition?

Why do your questions get removed, and you're not told why?My question was removed, and it wasn't inappropriate by any means. Nor was it detrimental to anyone. And they don't tell you why they remove it. Why is that?

Why would HubPages "close" a question less than 24 hours after it was asked?I posted a fun question for people to answer. It was completely G rated, not offensive in any way, and I thought it would generate a lot of discussion. But, when I logged in today to see if anyone has answered the...
