What are you going to do if you are banned from hubpages?

I'm a bit confused by the question for a start. By sticking to hubpages terms & conditions and providing material that is your own there should never be a chance that you would be banned.

ya,,you are right. but if you are banned from hubpages with no reason?

Like other people have answered I'd contact admin to see how matters could be resolved.

I can't imagine doing anything that would get me banned.  I am a very non-controversial person. I hate controversy and drama.  But if I was banned, I would contact the admin. and ask why if there was no reason for it.

So you are saying you love hubpages?

No. She is saying that she would contact hubpages and ask them why she was banned.

oh, yes..actually is there any other option than contacting?

There are a lot of options out there that could be beneficial.

I know it is not wise to anwer a question with a question, but what did you come here to do?  Most if not all of us came here to write. If you were banned from hubpages then I would write somewhere else. Nobody has been banned from hubpages without a reason. Whether or not they agree with that reason is another story. Again, like most of us I came here to write, If banned... I would write some place else.

I publish some articles on wizzley.com...

that is great. what about triond?

    4. davenmidtown profile image72
davenmidtownposted 12 years agoin reply to this

When I lost my adsense account I looked at most of the writing sites out there. Nothing really compared to hubpages. The closest was wizzley. I was not impressed by triond...

    5. addingsense profile image60
addingsenseposted 12 years agoin reply to this

why did you lost the adsense account?

    6. davenmidtown profile image72
davenmidtownposted 12 years agoin reply to this

Google will not tell me why They have deactivated my adsense account. So I do not know why... I just received an email one morning saying it was deactivated.

    8. davenmidtown profile image72
davenmidtownposted 12 years agoin reply to this

Yes... and appealed... to no avail.  I wrote a hub about it... including the fascist emails from Google.

      did you resubmit your application?

    10. davenmidtown profile image72
davenmidtownposted 12 years agoin reply to this

I submitted an appeal and they denied it.  Since they will not tell me what I did, I have no way to fight their action. I just choose not to use google products and I do not allow them to place their ads on my hubs. There are other ad revenue sites.

oh, then why can't you share those sites with people. Google always try to make people dependable to it.

I'd be so peeved, I came to write, but I do like that ad-sense helps me out and I really don't have to do anything at all anymore smile

I'll go to the other writing sites!  But, I don't see myself being banned.  I am one to read any sites' TOS and such, and if I do not wish to abide by them, I will not join.
If I inadvertently violated HP's terms, well then, it's on me.  I imagine I would appeal to the team since I have quite the good record here,  but I would abide by their decision-it is, after all, their business, not mine.
All writing sites-well, all sites, actually-have competitors, and some are quite good.  HubPages is not a monopoly, but it's a great business, where I started writing, and a great place to interact with others.

PS:  addingsense, that was 2 questions, and fallacious!  wink
Reminds me of the  cop who asked a guy in an interrogation room, "So how
long have you been beating your wife?"

addingsenseposted 12 years agoin reply to this

ha ha..that is good. violation of policies is a different thing. What if somebody flags your hubs continuously. there is no way that we could know who was it. right?

    2. lorlie6 profile image72
lorlie6posted 12 years agoin reply to this

That is a different matter entirely, addingsense.  What you have mentioned is essentially a criminal 'cyberstalking' or bullying that ought to be looked into by the staff here at HP.  Or perhaps by you, since you are the victim.

The hubpages staff would probably be able to tell is someone was maliciously voting down one persons hubs. It would not surprise me if you could only vote the hub down once.... I think all the clicks are counted and tracable....

yes, that is what i am trying to say. Just crying is not a good way. write. so we need an alternative way. or what should we do?

Gardening comes to mind...I'm really not being facetious here.  Writing is not the only game in town.  Creativity comes in many forms, so try something, anything new if you can't find another appealing site.

First of all there is no reason why one should be banned from hubpages. Hubpages has very clear directives to hubbers in their tutorials and help pages. If one adheres to them I do not think this would ever happen.

    1. addingsense profile image60
addingsenseposted 12 years agoin reply to this

oh..you are right about that. but as you visit some forums you can understand that hubbers are not satisfied with that policies.

    2. davenmidtown profile image72
davenmidtownposted 12 years agoin reply to this

The formums are full of people who just like to fight with each other over redundent issues. Those people were likely unhappy long before they came to hubpages.

addingsenseposted 12 years agoin reply to this

i know a hubber who wrote 1000 hubs but still unsatisfied with the policies. not only him there are hubbers who are saying the policies especially about plagiarism must be modified

Plagiarism is plagiarism.. how do you modify rules to prevent plagiarism. I have had many conversations with writers who were disgruntled about plagiarism issues. We are writers and we should be able to write content that is unique.
