Can fellow writers maliciously lower your scores?
I don't think a fellow writer has anything to do with your scores, since that is an editorial job and we have no access to that department.
I gather you're scored on your activity on HP, that is the number of hubs you write, your interaction with the HP community i.e. commenting, answering questions, asking questions and hopping some hubs. Hope this answers your question.
