    Hi Team HubPages!
This is to bring to your kind attention that some of the fellow writers are not able to login to HubPages.
Nell Rose, from England, has requested me to raise this issue in the forums, so that this issue can be resolved.
I am not sure whether I can share her profile link in the forums or not. Therefore, I am sharing the screenshot of her message.
I hope that this issue is resolved soon.
    Thanks and regards!

I have the same problem - the accept button does not work on Ipad or phone. It does work on my laptop though.

        Hello Thelma!
Good to know that you are able to login now. As I understand, it had affected the writers from European countries.
Thanks to Matt and the Team HubPages for resolving this issue.

Yes I've had that. You can't get rid of the pop-up.

I now use a browser extension called Cookie Notice Blocker and put HubPages on the Whitelist. That allows the cookies without having the pop-up. It only works on Chrome-based browsers, like Chrome, Opera and Vivaldi. There might be one for Firefox, I'm not sure.

It's a European problem, I think. To do with that awful GDPR. It means websites have to ask for consent to place cookies on your device.

Usually, it's not a problem, but on HP recently, it's been impossible to dismiss the pop-up consent thing. I got around it by firstly using a different browser with a VPN, but then that stopped working, so I found this Cookie Notice Blocker, which works. Although the pages are a little jumpy when I first click on them.

You aren't going to have this if you live in the States.

Edit: this is what it looks like...

Hi Nell! What kind of cookies blocker did you use?

Hi Thelma, so sorry for the delay. I have been away from my computer. I used  Cookie Notice Blocker. It seems to work okay. the only trouble is when I tried to share my hub on pinterest etc it kept jumping. not sure if its worth using it to be honest. Now I am just blocking third party cookies.

I did not have to use a cookie blocker, the cookie is no longer present when I go to HubPages.
