Do you carry a notepad with you to write down ideas for new hubs when you're out?
What do you do when you think of a great idea for a hub and you're not at your computer to write it down?
I always carry a notebook with me. I have a lot of slow days at work as a Walmart sales associate and that's when I think up most of my hubs.
I actually wrote a hub about why you should carry a notebook. http://nochance.hubpages.com/hub/writers-notebook
I can usually keep the idea itself in my head, but sometimes I think of particular phrases or expressions I want to use and if I'm not near a notepad or my computer I use the notes function on my phone to record them.
I'm a list junkie so I'm always jotting down ideas. But, I don't always have a notepad so half the time I end up using the back of a receipt or an old envelope. I'm sure I have a list somewhere that includes buying a notebook!
Must admit I have thought about it but never did it. Sounds a good idea I often think of different hubs but when I come to write my mind goes blank.
This is a must for me.
Em.. I really don't carry notepad instead I type the new ideas or topics that come in my mind on cell phone and make note on the paper as soon as I get home. Cheers

What do you do when you lack the motivation to write? This is not a problem with writer's block, but a problem with having the mental energy and desire to write.

Just wondered what people use to write their hubs. Do you type straight into the hub itself or use Word or what ?Personally I've been using notepad and then cutting and pasting.Just curious :-)

Figures, the HubChallenge hits, I had tons of ideas swarming in my head about what to write, I sit down to write, and I go blank! It's annoying and it sucks. What do you all do to help you stimulate your writing or unblock your writer's block?

I find myself writing Hub articles in my head all the time. I'll come up with a clever transition or witty summary idea and plan an outline of points I want to include. However, when I sit down to write, the ideas are gone. Any suggestions? How do you keep up with specific writing ideas?
