Does traffic from certain sources lower your Hubscore?
It is said that traffic from reputable sources raise Hubscore. What would be sources that are not reputable?
Hello Nate, Mate
Low quality traffic is low converting traffic normally from third world country. Alexa and Google frown upon third world non-converting traffic mainly because that is a sign of spammy or artificial traffic. There are lots of sites that offer to sell traffic, and those sites are responsible for this bad reputation.
Hi, Rui. Yes, that makes sense and what I was thinking. It would figure it is related to spam and the artificial traffic sites. Thanks for clarifying. It seems such traffic would be brought about deliberately and couldn't be the result of accident.
Traffic from sites that are deemed to be traffic exchanges would have a negative impact. This type of infringement would probably result in hubpages suspending or disabling the hubs in question if not your account entirely.Anything that contradicts adsense terms and conditions would not be tolerated by hubpages.

I wish there was a way to turn it off. It goes up and down without reason, and it can be very distressing.
