Who thinks that you should be able to publish/unpublish your hubs globally?
I have quite a few hubs and it would be great to save time.
If you publish your hub anywhere else, even if it is published first on HubPages, some human (I am not sure they really mean that) might spot it and declare that your work is a duplicate and will ban it until you rewrite it.
I had a Hub that I published on HubPages. It was picked up by an United Kingdom newsletter that I have written for in the past (no pay) , and it ran two days after being on the Hub.
So the newsletter duplicated the Hub, but my Hub was banned. I reworked it twice, but could never meet their approval. I just removed it. I do not see why we can link our hubs to Facebook, insert them in our Blogs but not allow them to go anywhere else. It is the one big complaint I have with HubPages. I do not think that rule is fairly enforced.
I believe that it is good to notify us about duplication since someone may copy your hub. The bad part is that Hub Pages do not give us any documentation (lead) on what basis their claim duplication is based on.

After 6 months on the site i've started the really wonder how many backlinks is a reasonable number to any hub, and really to a hub becoming successful? Or is it simply a lottery. What kind of figures do other hubbers consider?

I suspect I am not the only Hubber who received a tablet and got hooked this past December. Our dashboards work on ipad, and i've been able to moderate and even reply to comments. It's just hub editing that's busted. When we...

I was hub hopping and had to flag a few hubs for being substandard (word count). One hub had exactly 10 words and 2 photos. There should be a way the system prevents you from publishing a hub like that except if it's in the poetry section.

I have several articles written under another hub name. They focus on the same topics, just different issues that are all related. They get some traffic and the comments I get are pretty good. People ask me what they should do for advice or encouragement. I use motivation to help...

What happened to my little blue tip box I have become so attached to? I let me know how many words I had, if an image was not clear enough, and let me know when my hub was presentable and ready to publish.
