Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
I am now only experiencing sporadic notifications of others new hubs being posted. I am also receiving no notification as to comments hubbers are leaving. Also, hubbers I were following show I am no longer following - too many to count. Any suggestions what is causing this?
Sorry Becki, I can not answer this but only agree with your problems, I have been noticing the same problems except for the followers one. Like you said it is sporadic, but definitely existent. I hope this gets solved, great idea to make it known. Thanks!
I do not receive any notifications that let me know when someone has left a comment on any of my hubs so what I do is type in Hubpages in the Google search engine and then I arrive at a page that has my name to the right my icon picture, comments next to it. The words comment will have the number of new comments listed there. I hope that helps solve one of your problems.
I haven't experienced any of these problems, but I notice every time HP makes changes to the site, weird things start happening. For instance, the other day I was notified MickeySr had published a new hub. The vote buttons were there, but not the comment section! WTF! That's what we do when we're not posting, is comment!
Hopefully, someone on the Hub Board will answer this, as I see they answer other questions.
If nothing else, Beck, shoot them an email and find out what's up!
You're not the only one who is having odd things like this happen. Sometimes I won't get notifications either and yes, this happens intermittently. Also, sometimes I have replied to comments made at my hub page, and my comments disappeared, this also has happened intermittently. A few times, I made a second comment to a hubber who had visited so that I'd be sure they got my comments, and then what ended up happening, was that there were two comments to that person on my hub, because the first comment I made showed up again....I don't get it either, but I guess it just has to do with glitches in they system most likely, that can't be helped.

I noticed the past few days that any notifications of comments don't appear in the notifications list until I approve the comment. (I am seeing the comments as they show up next to the Hubs link on the homepage, so that is not an issue.) Newer notifications showed up before the comment did....
