Question about linking to Amazon.com
I noticed something today when I was using the link feature. Hubpages now have a tab for us to link to something directly on Amazon.com. I wonder when that started and how does that figure in with our earnings. Is the link shown 60% of the time like it was with the capsules. Anyone use this linking tool yet?
Ever since you originally signed up for Amazon you could create links directly to products with your id. It was a while ago that they configured it to make it easy for everyone. As far as I last knew the links share the 60% time but they might actually be 100% time, of course the downfall of the links is its a lot harder to get anyone to click on them compared to the capsule.

In our most recent product review lenses, the Amazon product was the featured intro. photo. Can we continue to use those Amazon product images as our introduction photo or do we need to change them?

The reason I need to know is I have a book on there now and want to promote it here and if I search on Amazon it comes up. So is it OK...

When I signed up for HubPages, things were done differently. I may have signed up with an amazon ID, that is now defunct. I am wondering now, if the new way references the ID I signed up with; unfortunately I can see no way to check. Can someone provide me insight on this please?

I've seen a couple of hubs where there is a link to an Amazon search results page, and the hubbers affiliate code is in the URL so they will get credit for the sale, even though it is not through an Amazon capsule. Is anyone willing to tell me how to do it? One I saw actually looks like the hubber...
