How to add ALT text to images in hubs for better SEO ??
I want to add alternative text to images on my hubs for better SEO . I do not see any such option in the image capsule ... can anyone help me on this ??
When you are uploading the image you should make sure its name is the keyword you want to rank for. Secondly you should consider using the title in the image since I think that is what represent the ALT tag in that capsule...this is just a suggestion we need clarification from someone who knows
The image filename would normally help SEO, but HubPages does not preserve the image filename. Alt text comes from the caption field in the Photo Capsule. For more, see my hub on Photo Capsules Advanced Layout Techniques:

It has been suggested that I submit one of my hubs here for an SEO check. This one has become unfeatured for lack of engagement, but it is a popular topic these days.I wonder, would it be better split into two separate hubs, so that I have a three-part article instead? I feel it might be a tad...
