How come YouTube channels are showing up as broken links?

    Any thoughts Hub Pages team?

It could be that the original video content has been removed. Have you checked if the video is still on YouTube?

      My thoughts, exactly.

Strangely enough, since I commented here. I have had two youtube videos flagged as potentially broken links. When I checked them. They were fine. This is very odd?

Weird, right?  All of my "broken links" work just fine.  I wonder what the deal is?

I'm not sure what is going on with the broken links, but I've had notices for broken links when all the links I added were okay. If there was one it had to be an advertisement link. As we are not allowed to click on those, they could have been okay as well. Sometimes Youtube links are taken down, though I haven't had that problem yet with the ones I've used.

I got a broken link warning on a few of my videos that were working.  I re-linked them.  I still got the warning.  When I clicked "ignore," the warning went away.  I haven't had any problems with them since.  Hope this helps. :-)

Sorry, I clicked, "Retest," not "Ignore."

I think this should probably go in the report a fault section of the forums.  I don't know if HP staff will give you a reply in the questions section.  My YouTube links are working okay.  If you are sure that it's a fault, I'd go to the forums section and see if anyone else has reported it and got an answer - if not, try posting the problem up there.

Do you have a Mac?  The recent Apple software download caused all kinds of UTube connection problems.  I was able to reconnect some of then with the latest Adobe flash upload.

I have also had broken links on some of my YouTube videos. Not all of my videos though have the broken link icon. I looked at YouTube and found other videos; reposted with the new links and now no errors. Perhaps you can find new videos to replace the current ones that show error messages?
