Is Stumbleupon the best place to link to your hubs?
Stumbleupon is giving me about a third of my views right now. I also tried redgage, reddit, and pinterest, but none of those worked out. Redgage was having problems with the website, and it wouldn't even let me join. Reddit and Pinterest must have automatically blocked me, because I couldn't find my posts after I posted them or days later. Is there anywhere like Stumbleupon that will let me post links, AND make those links available to others? Right now I just want to only use Stumbleupon and Hubpages.
Social bookmarking sites send small surges of low quality traffic. I personally avoid them - Google is starting to see them as just spam dumps.
I use Pinterest made images, but otherwise good keywords bring me traffic from Google.
Yea, spam dumps describes them pretty well. That's exactly what's happening - I get no ad clicks, and my views are decreasing. How long does it take for Google to give you serious traffic?
On average you're looking at 6-9 months. It's taken me two years to reach ~5k views/day on this account. You also need to learn what keywords people are searching and write on those - and see how people are getting to your hubs and tweak your hubs.
