Have you changed to the new profile page? If so, how do you like it?
Yes. I love it. I like that we can personalize it with our own background photo. More importantly, I think it is really user friendly and allows us to access our page information in an easier way. I love the suggested hubbers we might like. I think it is a fabulous update.
I love the new profile because it is more visual. The new featured hubs section is brilliant and allows you to showcase your favorite hubs smack dab in the middle! Youc an also showcase those hubs that need some "hublove", or some more comments and views. The new profile is more attractive to the eyes and definitely more professional looking(ie. no white space!)
I changed over a few hours ago and I love it. It looks better and more professional. I like the fact I can showcase which hubs I choose at the top. I have been trying to upload my own background but have failed so far not sure if it's my photo,my browser or Hubpages. I'll try again tomorrow.
I clicked on the profile page of a Hubpages staff member. On the top of the page there was a place to click "get the new profile." That took me to a page to edit my profile. It was super easy.

Yes and I love it personally. It has far more style than the old ones and like having some style.
There should be an option to do it presented at the top of your page. I love it! Reminds me a lot of pinterest. Much cleaner, smoother interface, and more customizable options.
I'v switched and really like the new profile look. It looks neat, organized and polished. One of my big complaints about (and reason for pretty much never a whole lot of Internet sites (and not just writing sites but sites like web medical-information sites) has always been that the user gets to a page and thinking, "What on Earth is all this mess?" So many sites/pages are a big mess of list lists and adds mixed in among other link ads and link lists, only to lead to other pages full of the yet more link lists and ads.
To me, the new profile offers a fresh looking page that lets the user know exactly what is what and where s/he can get to it. This isn't the only site that's made similar changes, so, to me, it looks like the Internet may be finally growing up.
Something else about the new profile that I think is nice is that it offers a little bit of a framework for people who aren't very skilled at, or inclined toward, organizing and profile well. So, people now have the flexibility of the background image and yet that "framework" that keeps the profiles consistently organized and presented. I also like what they've done with the bio. It's set up in a way that doesn't highlight how "there's nothing" on the profiles of people who don't bother writing more than two lines for a bio, but it also give the option of having a longer one for anyone who has one, or is inclined to bother reading a longer one.
I finally got brave today and changed mine. It was not hard to do at all. I love "showcasing" those Hubs I want.
I like it!
I have not. I am still new to all of this and need to take time to get started so that I can produce a quality product and establish a good flow of materials and views. Working more than full time makes my time on here precious. So far the profile change is a lower priority.
I haven't made the switch yet (creature of habit), but I'm thinking about it. The new design is clean and has a more professional look than the old one. Wouldn't you agree?
I haven't change over yet because I heard that there is a problem with the google authorship and the new profile page looks a little busy to me. I will eventually change over but I am not in any hurry. I just want to wait until they get all the bugs worked out first.

I just updated my HubPages profile a couple days ago and in my profile linked to some of my favorite hub topics that I wrote about. Is this bad to do this since on the profile page we have those same hubs randomly come up below? I just don't want overkill but like the thought that I've got my...

I love the new profile page, it looks better, I like that you can choose which hubs to feature. One thing I miss about the old set-up is that I could see at a glance which of the people I'm following had recently posted a hub. That feature seems to be gone. Is there anything you miss about the old...

It would be useful to be able to sort our hubs into categories on the profile page. This would make it easier for readers to see what else is available in subjects that interest them, and also remind writers to work on a niche. I think the option was available on the old profile page - was it...

I have a couple of people who want to join hubpages. I went to my profile page and scrolled to the bottom. I clicked referral tracker and copied and pasted it onto my profile page, with the message, "If you'd like to join HP, click here."Is that right? So if someone clicks that link, I'll...

Sorry if this is not the proper Forum Category to post this in.I've updated my Profile Page to include links to some of my hubs. Is that helpful? Can you take a look and see if there are any changes you would make? http://hubpages.com/profile/broussardleslieDoes your profile page really even...
