Have you switched to the new profile page? If so, do you like it?
Absolutely! And I really like it. You can download your own background image and select hubs you want to spotlight.
I like your page, and the hubs you've chosen to spotlight make it look bright and cheerful!
Thanks! I changed the spotlighted hubs just ... yesterday, I think. Many of my hubs are seasonal, so I'll probably switch them up again as autumn nears. Take care! Jill
Love it! Love that you can put your own background on there too. Mine is one of my own paintings I did a couple of years ago. I'll probably change them up every now & then, like I do on FB.
Your profile page looks great, makes me want to consider changing!
Moms treasure, no I have not switched but I am planning on doing so soon. Time, there is not enough. Anyway the profiles I have seen look great. I have picked up a few tips and ideas while looking. r u planning on switching anytime soon? Best wishes mom.
I too have been checking out the profiles of people that have switched and they look great, I just keep hesitating because there is no going back-what if I don't like it. I'll keep considering others feedback for a while. Good luck with your switch!
Yes, I have. It's okay. I have gotten used to it. I don't think a change was really necessary, but it's fine.
No ..I have not..its too busy for me, but the format is kinda cute..but just too much on the page. I think I will stick with the old way...sometimes old is better..lol..
Yes and I like the new look. It looks polished and professional. Go ahead and try it, you might like it. Oh and you can't switch back so be sure you are ready for the change.
I have switched to the new design and am very happy with the new format. It looks much more contemporary and it also helps the search engines to keep track of our content. Much better all around in my opinion.
I love the new profile page. I think it's so much more dynamic. The old one looks dull to me now.
Yes I have switched and I love it. It looks really professional and you can personalize the background to your own taste. Plus you can showcase up to 6 hubs which is handy for those hubs that don't get a lot of traffic and tend to get buried under your better performing hubs.
The new profile page looks nicer. But you can't put html code or in other words, you can't place url links.
So, look nicer but lose one function.
You call to move to new interface or stay with old one
I miss the hub statistics and the hot/best hubs features, but overall I like the new layout. The background adds more flair and I like being able to pick which hubs are featured.
I have switched and believe it is one of the progressive things that Hub Pages has done since I have been involved--a little more than a year. It exposes everything the author has written and more importantly what he has not written. I have voiced this before, but if a Hubber is not going to write Hubs, then he should not be allowed to hijack other hubs through comments. I think setting a minimal goal of three or four hubs a year is not unreasonable. If I get involved in a long string of comments, I check the profile pages and if the person making all the noise has never written a hub, I note that in my next comment and say goodbye. I do not mean i do this just on my hubs, but any hub where I might be commenting. I think not to write hubs and only join for the purpose of criticizing is completely wrong.

I love the new profile page, it looks better, I like that you can choose which hubs to feature. One thing I miss about the old set-up is that I could see at a glance which of the people I'm following had recently posted a hub. That feature seems to be gone. Is there anything you miss about the old...

It appears that there has been a recent change on my profile page. Underneath the number of published hubs, there is a number of featured hubs. I do not want this to be shown. My ratio of featured hubs is less than 50% of the number of published hubs. My understanding of why...

I know that you can choose to display your idle hubs on your profile page, but I don't, because I don't want Google to see them at all and get confused by all those "do not follow." What this means is that my idle hubs are not available for anyone to see, and I have to actively...

I just updated my HubPages profile a couple days ago and in my profile linked to some of my favorite hub topics that I wrote about. Is this bad to do this since on the profile page we have those same hubs randomly come up below? I just don't want overkill but like the thought that I've got my...
