I am not sure yet...Will be interested to what others post.
I found it to time consuming to enjoy it much... it was much like doing a job I hate doing... so I guess the answer is no... plus it is, like the old, opinion based and not measured against any kind of standard...therefore besides popularity... it is a task that is not valid.
I haven't found it much fun either, Dave. It's sort of like grading an essay.
Not at all... But it stimulates to read hubs more attentively. May be I get used to it in a while...
Not too keen on it, feels a bit like work. Plus, you can't skip a hub without grading it. Really frustrating if it's not one you're interested in reading.
I have actually stopped hub hopping since I don't like the new format. You can't skip a hub that doesn't interest you. I just don't have time to read all of them. In the past I would skip through and pick out the subjects I wanted to read then leave comments for the authors.
I think the new hub hopping option is really great, and since the first time I used it I decided to never hop hubs on this site again. What a waste of time! I can search explore/hubs/latest and find out which new hubs are interesting. Congratulations, Hubpages, you have converted me and I will be sure to tell all my friends what a waste of time the new hub hopper is.
I've stopped hub hopping, too, Dr. Mark. And I used to do it every few days just to see the latest hubs and the work of new hubbers. Hope the format's readjusted in the future--some sort of blend of the old and new.
Why would they even want someone to comment on an article in which he was ignorant? Do they expect me to evaluate "How to trade stocks online"? Oh well, sorry for the rant!
I really don't care for it. I used to enjoy it, but find it takes too much time analyze all of the categories and then figure out where I think the hub falls. I will still rarely do one from time to time.
The Dirt Farmer, I had asked this very question a couple of days ago, and no one seems to like it and will not use it again. It is no longer a fun thing, and it is too time consuming. The question I asked is, "What does everyone think of the new "Hop Hopping" process? Not good.
Sorry about that, Faith Reaper! I even did a search before posing the question & didn't see yours. If I had, I would have answered your question rather than pose my own.
Oh, no worries, I was just letting you know that all that answered mine, did not seem to care for the new hub hopping.

Do you like the new hub hopping? What I do like about the new hub hopping is they way you can rate grammar separately from creativity. What I do not like, is we are forced to read a hub we have no interest in. It seems we can not hop forward without rating a hub. This will...

I have been hub hopping lately and I am disgusted with the incoherent garbage that I am coming across - nothing but poorly translated articles of about 400 words, usually without even any formatting. I would say that more than half of the articles I randomly encounter are clearly nothing but spun...

How do you like the new hub hopping pages?
by Lionrhod 10 years ago
I've been hopping some hubs this morning. I came across a few excellent ones and a few that sheer perturbed me.In at least 3 of them, the English was so terrible and the word choice so indecipherable that I highly suspect it to be stolen and spun content. But what do I know?I looked up one hub via...

How often do you do some Hub Hopping? Do you like it at all?I started to use this feature on HubPages recently, and I think it is very useful, as it helps new hubs to be noticed by more and more people in the community. From now on I will try to Hub-hop everyday for a while just to help others and...
