What does the time refer to under hub listings on the new profile page? e.g. 2 days ago
On the new profile page hubs are listed with a time below them, e.g. 3 days ago or 5 weeks ago. Does anyone know what this refers to?
It doesn't seem to tie up with when they were published or last edited, which would be the obvious thing - maybe it just has it wrong?
could it be the last time there was any 'activity' on the page? The last time the person was logged into Hubpages?
I think - and don't quote me on this - it's the last time that hub got feedback. As in a "useful" or "awesome" etc. vote, thumbs up, or a comment.
For the time on the hubs, I would have to go with that it shows the date it was published, or the date when a hub was last edited. It is definitely not to do with comments or views, as I just checked that.
Hope it helps, took me a bit of investigating too lol
I have been doing some investigating, comparing the date published, last edited, last updated, and last commented upon dates.
The date under the hub title under the profile page seems not to correspond to just one of these things, but to the most recent modification that was made to the hub - so either the date of publication, any update or modification or when it was last commented upon.
It seems to be in two parts.
First part relates to how long the hubber has been writing on hubpages.
Second part relates to their most recent activity on hubpages.
Whatever the activity was. Edited or commenting etc.
It shows the last time when that particular hub was updated.
I changed all of my hubs within 1 hour yesterday (added the copyright row to their end), therefore all my hubs made before today show the same time: 24hours at this moment.
So I guess this is the answer
It is when the hub was last updated. We all wanted to know that so it is now front and center
It is probably you last updated your hub. I do not know for sure. But some hubs I had edited recently is marked as recent.
For my hubs, it seems to be the last time I edited them. It could also be the last time you viewed your own hub.
Don't you just hate that they put down every single thing that we do. I think it is when you last edited a hub.
It refers to the last time that you edited the Hub. After reading this question I went and edited a Hub and the time on it changed to correspond with my edit. I went to my list of Hubs under the my account menu and I noticed that all of the last changed dates also match the dates in the profile.
This date refers to the last time something happened to this hub.
This could be the time it was published or the time it was edited / modified or the time a comment was last left on it.

I see other authors listing all their articles/Hubs on the profile page while above in the spotlight box the pics rotate in and out. And below the spotlight box is every article that they have written. How can I list all my 6 articles? Thanks

Regarding niche sites, at the moment, all we really know from looking on the My Account page is if a hub is featured or not. It would be useful to know *where* the hub is featured (Soapboxie, Owlcation, HubPages, PairedLife etc.). At the moment there is no way of knowing without...

I know that you can choose to display your idle hubs on your profile page, but I don't, because I don't want Google to see them at all and get confused by all those "do not follow." What this means is that my idle hubs are not available for anyone to see, and I have to actively...

I just updated my HubPages profile a couple days ago and in my profile linked to some of my favorite hub topics that I wrote about. Is this bad to do this since on the profile page we have those same hubs randomly come up below? I just don't want overkill but like the thought that I've got my...
