Are song lyric hubs allowed?

    Are song lyric hubs allowed?

    I look up song lyrics often, so I assume there are others doing the same thing. Are we allowed to do hubs that are just song lyrics?

    As long as you correctly cite the source you got the lyrics from you should be all set.

    I don't know about using song lyrics as the only content of your hub. I have however used song lyrics as part of an occasional hub, and I always attributed the source of the lyrics.

    If it's just song lyrics probably not. But maybe write a review of the song and include the lyrics? Just one example of a possibility. If you write your own lyrics and want feedback on them, that may work though.

    You would be better off posting this material on your own website so that you don't get hit with a warning from the moderators.  Since the same song lyrics appear on so many sites, you would get flagged for duplicate content.

    I think you've hit on a great idea for a money making website, but unfortunately this doesn't fit within Hubpages guidelines.
