   Did you use your own photo for your profile page ?
   
   if you did let me know and I will go look at it ! I used this one ! Are you happy with it ? I believe we cannot change them at anytime .

      Yes I wanted to have a look at the photos people chose for an original look on hubpages . I love mine as you can see the trees each side !

   I spent hours on the web looking for one. I will try to add the image here but I've never tried adding an image to an answer so I hope it worked. I like the way it looks on my profile as you can only see the trees on the side of the page.

      Thanks for answering ! I had a look & It looks good with the trees to the left clouds on the right ! Tough choosing but they look good when you choose your own picture aye !

      Yea, it definitely is tough finding one that is the right size and doesn't need to be 'squeezed' onto the page.

   My background photo was one that I found on the web. Its a picture of the Bialowieza forest in Poland, its the one of the last truly primeval forests in Europe and a place that I hope to visit someday.

   Yes I did because I wanted an original background,so I made a montage out of my own flower photos. I will probably change it when I have more photos I want to display,

      Wow - what a good idea and it looks really good ! I thought once we picked a photo it can never be changed thats why I hesitated . I prefer to be stuck with one of my photos rather than a default background though.

   Ha ha I just found the new profile layout option yesterday and discovered that we could upload a photo of our own choice for the background. So I chose this lovely picture I chanced upon on the web recently. Sadly all the lovely picture in the middle is covered up. Do you like it?

    I like your background picture.  i used a picture of the Burnside Bridge from Antietam, MD (scene of the bloodiest single day battle in the US Civil War.), but you only see the edges on my profile page.
    I'm not sure if you can change to another personal picture, but I would think you would at least be able to change to one of the stock backgrounds.

       I like being able to see the trees in the background ! I am enjoying looking at the backgrounds . You also have some great hubs I need to read for planning our trip next year !

    Great Photograph,
    Fits your style very well. I decided to make my own, still a work in progress. Wanted to use the space to tell a bit more about myself and my interest. As mentioned, still working on the format...want to have a Hubpages feel to it but be unique at the same time. Wrote an article on how to create a Twitter background, branding of sorts. And yes, you can change the image as often as you like...I keep the same image name, just keep uploading and refreshing. Let me know your thoughts on my image. Thanks
