What is the strangest thing you have encountered on the hubpages?
I had a man contact me who said he was a vampire, and so I interviewed him and turned it into a hub! That was kind of strange. Also I do tend to get a lot of angry people on my hub about pain pill addiction...people literally sign up for Hubpages just to write nasty comments on that hub...of which I usually delete and go about my day! LOL.
I remember reading that article. I have to go back and read that again.
The strangest thing I've encountered was a hub about the secret Satanic messages the writer claimed he'd uncovered in "X-Men" comic books.
That's strange. Where can I find that article?
I just tried looking for it - I believe it was called "The X-Men's Dark Code" - but it appears to have been deleted. It was quite a while ago.
The fact that some people just sign up in order to only post comments and get things riled up. They don't write hubs themselves which, I guess, you just can't avoid bullies no matter where you are.
I find it strange when a writer has a single digit hubber score or none at all. They seem to be participating. I don't understand that. I now hear it's because they have no hubs? Then why are they here? I don' t get it. Very strange.
I agree, if you aren't writing hubs you should be allowed to comment
Yes, a little strange! It is okay to share your advice, reviews, opinions and insights with others it makes the website more popular or maybe they forgot their password.
I recently started a new hub. Because I was called away on business I only put in the title and one sentence of text and saved it as unpublished. My score shot up 10 points overnight.
religious nuts. in my life i've met some very religious people but usually they weren't what would be considered a normal part of society as most of them had some kind of mental illness problems. on here there are people who are so religious it creeps me out. perhaps they have mental illness issues also but since i don't talk to them face to face it's hard to say.

Yesterday evening, when we walked outside to the car, I could smell a skunk. In my front yard! I've never been that close to one before, as far as I know, other than roadkill. A few hours later the smell had dissipated. What's the oddest thing that has happened to you recently?

There's that old saying about a sucker being born every minute and I have to say, I'm a little surprised by some of the things that people will actually spend money on. Some of the purchases made through my Hubs (which were not on my Hubs) are just very odd. The most memorable to date are:The...
