I searched the FAQ and such, and didn't see anything about age.
How old do you need to be to work here or does it even matter?
I seem to remember this discuss before and the consensus was anyone can write hubs no matter their age, but they have to be 18 and over to join the affiliate programs and earn money. I saw a new Hubber that was 11 years old not long ago when I was browsing through the newbies.
It tells you when you sign up quite clearly that you have to be 18 to be a member of Hubpages.
He/she won't last long, then. I think the point is, even though the Hubber may not want to use ads, HubPages does display ads on Hubs and therefore the writer has to meet Adsense rules, which means you must be 18.
There was a Hubber here recently who was 17 - he had his membership terminated and all his Hubs unpublished, but HP kept them all safe to be republished as soon as he turned 18.
Thanks for the reminder. To bad we can't let the young writers post. Anything we can do to encourage youngsters to write should be a good thing. But I guess it can get dicey, too.

I've been on here for a few years, and I guess I never really understood the point of these scores. They don't seem to provide any real value to the user and I can't convince myself that they add value because they fluctuate so much. What's the point? Am I supposed to use these scores to tell me...

Recently, there was a thread of someone complaining about Hub of the Days lacking amazing writing skills. Their complaint stated the Hubs being selected were because they were niche driven and 'how too's' instead of stellar writing from the soul. The day he posted that, it was my hub that was...

I understand it difficult times but what good will deleting hubs do? I see some of the most prolific hubbers deleting heaps of hubs. Have we lost the hope of a hubpages bounce back?
