Change in Summary
I have changed my summary, but the published version still has the old summary.
I am assuming that the unchanged summary is in the Google search results. This happened to me. I had written a summary on one of my hubs and misspelled a word. Happens that Google indexed it that way. I corrected the spelling but Google never seemed to update their summary. It looked really bad and drove me crazy. What I did was asked Google to delete the cached version of the site as it was out of date. That seemed to fix the summary. I submitted the requests as if I was not the site owner so I would not be requested to do something I couldn't, like having to put a special file on the domain. Anyone can do this to anyone else's site. You just have to put a word that is in the cached version that is not in the live version. I just put in the misspelled word. My cached version of the page along with the summary was corrected. It's worth a try.
