Is there a reason that I am getting views on my unpublished hubs? Also, my score goes down on my hub even though it's not published yet. Am I missing something?
The views are you, and don't worry about the fluctuating HubScore. It's just the nature of the beast.
That's weird. I thought the views were based on IP addresses rather than how many times someone navigates on the page and I knew the scores fluctuate at first, but didn't see why when it's not published.
But oh well. I was more curious than anything. Thanks Darkside!
Whether the hub is published or not, its score will fluctuate day to day. It will usually rise slowly, then go back down.
The views are based on whoever views the page. If you look at it, you count. Just like if a hubber returns to one of your published hubs a day or two later, that view will be counted just like the first one. Views don't make you money, clicks do so IP addy's have nothing to do with the views.

I know that our own views are counted on the stats page but I have not opened this hub to edit it today and yet I can see that I have had four visits!

This really isn't a problem, but rather something I am interested in finding out. I have a few unpublished hubs with little to no content in them, and the thing is, one of these hubs outranks one of my published hubs! I...

I have a couple of WIPs (Works in progress) that are not yet published and in one case is simply a holding tank for an idea. Does keeping these in my "space" and unpublished affect my scores in any...

I really don't mind, terribly. They seem to vote them up, even before I've finished with them. The last Hub I published I was a few days working on, and it had over 20 views and a HubScore of like, 70, before I posted...
