What is the purpose of the "thumbs up" and the thumbs down" at the bottom of each hub?
Is it in reference to how the hub is written - as in accuracy of content, grammar, wording etc? Or is it in reference to whether the reader agrees or disagrees with the subject matter presented? I personally would never give any hub a thumbs down unless it was a hub which should flagged due to inappropriate, namely X Rated content.
Thumbs up if you enjoy the Hub, thumbs down if the Hub was not enjoyable to you.
Thumbs up and down, according to FAQs, are part of what determines the hub score. Since HubPages is primarily a writing site, I interpret all feedback to be mostly aimed at all of the qualities of writing.

I have a question about the blue thumbs on Hubs. Do I give it a thumbs down, and if so, does the writer...

Is there any way to tell if a particular hub has received any thumbs up or thumbs down, and if so, how many? I've been here long enough, I should know these things. But I don't.

My stats is no longer showing the number of thumbs up or thumbs down I am getting on any hubs, or even just the totals. The columns are just gone. Am I having a problem, or is this stat something we all can't see anymore?

I recently wrote a hub on this and have gotten some good responses from it. I was wondering, does anyone have any sort of method that they use for writing comments for hubs? Do you just write comments on hubs that you like? Do you comment on all the hubs that you read? Do you also give a...

Do you give other hubs a "thumbs down" vote?I've never voted a "thumbs down" on any hub, regardless of errors or the tone and nature of an article. If a hub is filled with errors or it is politically charged and I disagree, I may respond, but I do not vote it down. Am I shirking...
