Do you agree that our hub community are a group of peace lovers?
It looks like that most of the Huber are in favor of peace. They hate wars between the nations and seem to endorse the theory of brother hood.
I would agree with this statement. I can safely say that I am currently living a peaceful life compare to my younger years as a child and as member of the armed forces. I would venture to say that many Hubbers are in many ways advocates of peace for those that are in some way less fortunate than others and sharing their expertise and their experience may help others to acheive a more peaceful existence.
Yes Mash, I would agree. I think the majority want peace all over the world. Blessings.
Thank you, JThomp, how can we convince the world leaders to respect the majority?
Great question Mash. I wish we knew the answers.
Unfortunately, as the song says "the answer is blowing in the wind". It is no longer a matter of the world leaders as heads of States but as the wealthy pulling the strings of the world's fate.
I believe that in the same way that all children want to be good, the average (sane) adult is in seeking out peace whether it be on a national basis or personal.
not really. i might be the one who is different here, i know i am different then quite a few. it's not that i don't want peace, it's that i know that sometimes violence is what is needed to fix things.
In general I would guess this community is a group of peace lovers. But, then what is your definition of peace? If everyone is expressing themselves and happy because they have an avenue to do so are they at peace? Am I being too literal on the topic? I don't know. But, I think because we are human there will always be opposition from somewhere. We are not perfect human beings, therefore war is bound to happen. Do most people like it? Probably not. But, is it inevitable? Absolutely! If we were 100 percent peace lovers, we would all be in heaven with the Lord.
People generally prefer peace to war, only if threatened or cornered by injustice, poverty or hunger they turn to violence, often feeling there is nothing for them to loose....diminish injustice and you will take away the need for war....
Actually, I love war! That's why I'm making a beeline for Afghanistan! Life in America is TOO BORING!!! Even our crime rate doesn't create enough excitement for me! I lived in Chicago's South Side for a year, and the scene put me to sleep! Even Bad Bad Leroy Brown couldn't rouse me!
LOL! No really - I believe most people want to go on about their business with no trouble, and enjoy life. It would be interesting to put all the exceptions in one place, and let them battle it out for themselves.

I'd like to suggest that we create such a thing. You can Google "SEO ethics" and "SEM ethics" to find suggestions of the types of things it might say. I found a few links that might get it started.http://www.pronetadvertising.com/articl …...

Why is thread high jacking amd derailing activity allowed to run rampant? You can't discuss a religious subject without three or four hecklers posting just to sneer, jeer, make snide remarks and generally foul up and clutter. Why not provide an ignore button so one doesn’t...

Hi! Hope you are real music lovers! I am pushing this Metallica Megadeth make up! World leaders need to learn from 2 men, real men, who has learned to make peace! Can we come together , use them as the poster board for peace, and maybe make a difference? The Union for Concerned Scientists are...

Do you agree with Bill O'Reilly? On election night, Bill O'Reilly said that the white establishment was now the minority in America and that the people who voted for President Obama want stuff. Specifically, he cited latino people, black people, and women. One can easily interpret what he said as...

It is especially important, particularly in support of new Hubbers, that when we have read one of their Hubs, we indicate our reaction by taking the few seconds needed to indicate our reaction to their Hub (funny, awesome, useful, interesting, etc.). Not only might it be a needed encouragement and...
