I have been looking in the forums for a thread on this...am I the only one who is not sure what this is? Was there an announcement I missed? ...anyway, what's it for please? Something good I'm sure?
I noticed it too and was like huh? I haven't touched it nor have I read anything about it
No....... As You Can See - You are not the Only One.
But Don't Ask Me... I'm as Lost as You
Basically by pressing csv you open your own offline Excel or Open Office spreadsheet and exports your list of hubs into your own data base. Perhaps someone has requested this facility.
Shouldn't someone from the staff already have introduced this new feature and also the ask a question capsule which keeps showing up everywhere?
CW and Pearl - you guys should be a tag team - regular Martin and Lewis
Nice to know I'm not alone, LOL
Thanks jewels. Not sure why someone would want to do that...but good to know
Here you go. By pressing csv you open your own offline Excel or Open Office spreadsheet and exports your list of hubs into your own data base. Perhaps someone has requested this facility.
Sunforged asked for this feature last week, talk about a quick reaction from the HP team. It's handy if you want to keep a record of your Hubs in spreadsheet format - if, say, you might want to keep track of your edits.
Yeah, Im stoked to see this feature and they created in less than a week since I asked about it!..they might have had it in the works but either way Im real happy
here is the original request thread, kind of explains how a couple of us could benefit from a list of our URLs for either bookmarking or managing edits and changes

I hadn't seen it until now. It's a great feature (and easy too).

Perhaps this is to specialized for serious consideration or maybe there is a faster way that someone can enlighten me on.I would love to be able to press a button and be able to export a text or .csv file of all my profile urls. This would help me greatly in my own personal marketing management...

I think it would be awesome for some of us hubbers who have written considerable amounts to be able to export all of our content to a text file with the click of a button. Copy and paste seems tedious.I don't know how difficult this would be for the programmers at HP, but I would like to have...

I have a very quick announcement today. We are retiring profile background photos soon (the images and themes you can set to appear as the background to your HubPages profile page). This is a feature that is relatively infrequently used. Additionally, when it is used, images are often uploaded that...

If we can export quizzes, why not polls? I think it's nice to have this feature, especially to those who owns blogs. Also, in this way, we have the possibility of having increased traffic. I am not so sure, but it may be explored. What do you guys think?

I just noted a new feature on my account page. "Export CSV"Forgive me if this sounds stupid, but what is "CSV" & what does it mean to "Export" it?How do I proceed with it & what are the benefits? If there are Hubs written about this or a Forum thread,...

It really is hard to write a book. I think there should be a facility for a general announcement along the lines of "Charles James has just published his new book - Guide to Packaging and Labelling Law 2011 - available from <link snipped> for £46 including p&p".
