   If you are earning here on HP,  how much time did you write before you got paid?
   
   How long was it before you got paid the first time?  was it longer than you imagined? Also, did you have to request it or was it a surprise?

   I got paid after 3 months in my first account. It was out of my expectations since I created that account simply for fun. Pay outs here in Hubpages do not require requests since they'll be automatically delivered once you reach the $50 mark.

   I hit the $50 mark the first time sometime around four and a half months. And, like dailytop10 says, it's an automatic payment.

   My first payout was after 4 months and I received it in the 5th month because there is a waiting period after hitting the 50 dollar threshold. They pay on the 28th of each month. I really wasn't expecting payout until much later when I started. I recommend to write, write, and write some more. I had around 100 hubs written when I was payed. Good Luck and merry Christmas!

   I am a beginner adsense publisher. I am sure I will do as existing Hubbers are doing.  My earning tab has started showing the sign $s.

   3 months and I think 30 something hubs.  It felt like a very long time but really it wasn't I was just very excited to be earning money this way. It was definitely not a surprise I kept very good track of how close to the 50 dollar mark I was and the payout is always the same date every month.
