Have exclusive titles you've written frequently gone idle?
I took a stab at several of HubPages exclusive titles and I've found them to be the poorest performing of all my hubs. I find that quite disappointing because I was led to believe they were titles that would get traffic. The only hubs I've ever had go idle except for one, are the "exclusive title" pieces I wrote. Anyone else experience that?
Same here. They have gone idle several times. And, as you said are doing very poorly considering the rest of my hubs. In my opinion, there is no benefit in taking these on.
In the course of three months, mine generated no external traffic at all.
I have two exclusive titles and both are doing very poorly. I've put as much effort into writing and promoting them as I have my other hubs, and have had very few viewers. From everything I've heard and from my own experience, I really don't think there's much benefit to using the exclusive titles.
I have had a few exclusives go idle so I started to go back and tweak them. Unfortunately I had one trigger some Google thing that turned the ads off of it; all I did was condense the summary because I felt it was too long.
I too thought the exclusive titles were highly searched topics that needed a hub written about them but it doesn't appear that is the whole story.
I also had the belief that exclusive titles would get better traffic. But I realize now that it all depends on many other things. I had written over 10 hubs using exclusive titles. None of them did any better than my other hubs. And a few were even idled at times.
When I need to improve a hub, many times I change the title. That cannot be done with exclusive titles. We are stuck with the title that we selected.
I had used exclusive titles to give me ideas of hubs to write. But since they didn't perform well, I'm just not finding any advantage in using exclusive titles.
I just want to add to my reply... Exclusive titles can be modified only if they come with in title tuner, which selects hubs to be changed. In this case it keeps the exclusive status also. Exclusive titles can't be changed by editing a hub.

You all must have read that hub regarding hubs with exclusive titles. I am not able to understand the "exclusive" icon and where does it appear? I am searching it in my account page. Want to listen in from fellow hubbers?

I don't understand the Exclusive Titles: I just checked a subject I am interested in. I get a title for a Hub that I have already written! I thought the idea was it was Exclusive. I'm very confused. Help.

I logged in to Hubpages this morning to find that whereas previously, I had two unfeatured hubs that I have been intending to get around to editing or deleting, I now have 25 UNFEATURED for "lack of engagement".Whilst I appreciate that the older hubs may well need some work or in some...

Have you used "Exclusive" titles yet? They pop up as you type but are they "use-able"?

This exclusive title became unfeatured recently. I changed the headings to more searchable headings and it went into pending - then to my shock it went back into unfeatured. What exactly is wrong with this article? Is it so bad that it cannot pass the Mturk...

While entering "pant..." I got an interesting hub title suggestion:"Smart Ass Thong Panties for Moms Product Review"Sure is an interesting topic! I suppose it would be fun to write about, but it would probably get flagged.Has anyone else experimented with the topic/title...
