What is the best way to determine your Google ranking?
Everyone mentions their Google rankings and I'm not really sure how they find them. Do you use your exact hub title to search Google?
It's not easy to do these days. There used to be a site called Scroogle.com, where you could find out how you ranked on the search engine results (called SERPs) - but Google closed it down.
There are many places to check your "page rank" (just Google "page rank checker") but that doesn't tell you where you rank in the SERPs
Google and you'll also find lots of sites offering to tell you where you rank in the SERPs, but most of the free sites are unreliable (try doing the same search twice and see what happens). There are paid tools but you have to be a pretty serious internet entrepreneur to justify the cost.
Remember that Google personalizes search these days, even if you're not logged in to Google. So Googling your own Hubs on your own PC tells you nothing - it will favour sites you've looked at before, which obviously includes your own work.

these are the best tool for checking the rank
Thank you so much Martinjohn. I could not get the google checker to work though, it kept telling me my address was defective even though the other two worked fine with the same address. Anyway, at least now I have a way to check my ranking.
These links are all for checking "page rank". That tells you NOTHING about where your site is ranked in the search engine results, which I think is what Tillsontitan wants.
Interesting Marisa, what is the difference between 'page rank' and 'search engine results'?

Alright, this is a very basic question (yes, I know it is, but.....) I thought I understood this but the other night, someone told me that indexing has no affect on page ranking. He went as far as to say that he...

I have multiple sites that haven't moved a bit. They're still on the same page, at the same rank, for the same key words. The traffic for those hubs, particularly one, is down over 80% though! Any...

What if google sees a bunch of back links that were posted by the same ip (yours) that do not get clicks from the traffic its exposed to? How is google going to respond to this? Is it possible that google will rank that...

Hey guys, are all of the hubs on hubpages capped at PR 3? I'm curious because I don't think I've ever seen a hub with a PR above 3. Are there any hubs that have a PR > 3? If so, could you provide some examples?
