Is it true that once Google Adsense has not approved your profile page, you should start a new acct?

I read a post that stated that once you have been rejected, you should start a new profile and wait 6 months to apply.  Is this correct?

I'm not a part of the success stories around here yet but I can tell you my experience with Adsense. I kept getting told I couldn't sign up with Hubpages because my account was not yet 6 months old even though I don't live in any of the countries where this is a requirement. This happened even AFTER I had an Adsense account. Before I simply was told to sign up through Hubpages when I tried to sign up for an Adsense account using hubpages.com. Hubpages told me to wait 6 months...vicious circle.
Anyhow, what I done was sign up with Blogger, google's version of hubpages, and then applied. You have to write a blog for Blogger before they will let you sign up. Then I went back to Adsense and applied with my Blogger profile. I was approved and got my ID. I already had a Youtube account that I decided to monetize also. I don't know if this will work for anyone else but it did for me so I try to share in case it helps. Good luck to you!

Thanks you so much for answering Pool of Thoughts.  Did you wait 6 months on Blogger to apply for Adsense or did you apply right away?

Nope, just applied right away. I had to work with the hubpages team after I got approved and had my own adsense account because hubpages was still trying to say my account wouldn't work because it wasn't 6 months old. It got fixed somehow. LOL

I was rejected several times before I finally got approved. I did not set up a blogger account or a new hubpages account. Are you still in England? If so, you won't have to wait 6 months to be approved. You probably just need to write more hubs. I ended up writing 13 before I was approved. There are several hubs written about getting approval from Adsense. They all say to write between 10-15 before applying. Good luck!!

Thank you so much, ExpectGreatThings!  It is so helpful to hear from someone that has been through the process already.  This definitely sets my mind at ease!  (By the way, what an inspired name for a hub profile!)

Hi Rcote.  The last I read on the Learning Center just a few days ago was that Google Adsense was not approving until at least 10 quality hubs were generated, that were at least 800 words and had two quality photos.  So, you can just reapply with your same account once you meet the requirements.  Now, the requirements could change again, but that's what I read just a few days ago.  Hope this helps!

    Hi rcote,
Luckily I got my adsense approval ( about 6 years back) when they would approve just anyone in a day or so and I was very new to net. So all I did was post a joke on blogger and applied for it and I got the approval but now things have changed. Now they approve on quality products only. So Just keep writing more and more quality hubs and you would get it soon.
