Why did you choose hub pages for writing articles?   What is the best thing about it?

I chose it cuz it looked like fun, and it is. It's also extremely user friendly so that even a middle aged dork with no web building/layout experience such as myself can navigate it easily.

I chose it only because I didn't know about other sites like it at the time. I tried Squidoo after and that didn't go well. I now use Wizzley as well. Hubpages is by far the best of the three. But Wizzley is good too.

i tried hubpages because i saw some good recipes while searching at google. I find it very user friendly, better than blogger.com, triond and expertscolumn. Best of all i could earn 3 earnings, adsense, hub earning and amazon. What a great site!!

I chose it cause it was the first one I came across that made sense.
Why do I stay? *grins* - I like the interesting differing points of view -even when it seems like I'm arguing, I'm not - I'm learning!. (errr...and earning!)

I enjoy the ability to impart my knowledge in a way that I can get feedback...and learn from those who have a little more knowledge, or knowledge in different areas of the same topic at the same time.

But, I've come to the conclusion that due to the high emotion stuff I tend to wander into - controversial topics, arguements/discussions etc - I need to take some time away - focus on other goals at present (fertility treatments etc).

So hubpages is both interesting, enlightening, and occasionally a little over the top - would I change it for anything. Nope.
