How do I get my HubberScore back up?
I started my hub two days ago and have posted 3 hubs, read and commented on other hubs, and hopped around the community but my score has fallen from 28 to 8. Am I doing this all wrong?
If you're going to write memoir and short stories, you should probably interact more (that is, follow) with others on HubPages that write in similar genres. One of your hubs isn't an article, but only a photo with an inscription (not meant to be a criticism, but it's not something that will gain points on HP). I think that if you don't focus on keywords and other aspects of SEO, you may find that your hubs don't score as high. Don't worry about your score--just write from your heart, interact with hubbers that have similar interests, and share your work on social media sites to improve your traffic. I'm no HP expert, but that's my two cents!
I agree with Racliff's comment on writing from the heart and disregarding you Hubscore. I've been writing for two weeks, I write on various topics but they are all things that I'm very much interested in. I have heartfelt interactions with everyone who comments on my Hubs. I also answer questions that interest me and participate in discussions on other people's Hubs. Choosing your keyword or Hub topic is important too, as well as having interesting Hub titles and subheadings. I hope this helps.

produces: anxiety!C'mon, Hubpages! I've been a good boy. I've improved my hubs. I've been "awarded" a Level 2 Commentator (oh joy.) My personal story of near death and survival is consistently coming up TWICE (original hub and five year follow up) in Google search on page one out of over...

I am sort of disappointed. I try to be active in the site as much as possible, comment on other people's hubs, help out in the forums, add new hubs once every two weeks, participate in the question and answer and my hubscore is slowly decreasing. Any advice from expert Hubbers on how to...

I used to be totally addicted to HP, couldn't wait to log on everyday to see what was happening, who and what was popping in the forums, what interesting hub made HOTD, and of course, how my stats and earnings were progressing. I looked forward to the rush I got from clicking "publish"...
