    Promoting hub on Article directories

I have read that article directories are a great source of traffic to your blog, is that true. I have submitted a few of my articles to articlebase.com but only 1 view even after two weeks. Does these directories really help you in getting traffic or am I just wasting my time writing for them. Please give your advice if it works or not. Thanks all in advance

Using article directories is a very outdated method of trying to generate backlinks/traffic - it was out of date in 2008 when I started working online! I would strongly advise you against it and would also advise you to remove any articles you have posted on that type of website.

You do know that anyone can take your article from articlebase and put it on their own blog/website? Having duplicates all over the place can confuse the search engines and they may well rank one of the copies higher than your original. Most people that use sites like articlebase to get content will also strip out any author links or backlinks you have so again, you'll get no benefit whatsoever.

If you want up-to-date advice on generating traffic, internet marketing and SEO then stick with sites like SEOmoz, searchengineland, searchenginewatch and seroundtable.
