I have recently been receiving the error message, "please enter a comment before posting" when I try to post a single sentence comment. I am aware that this is a recurring problem. It usually happens, as I say, when my comment is only 1 line long. Hope this helps!
Copy the comment(so that you need not type again), refresh the page and post it again. It works, worked for me.

For the past hour or so, whenever I try to leave a comment on the hubs I am reading, I get an error message, something of the following nature:-"Sorry something went wrong. Try back later and when you get the chance you can report it in the forums".
