Do you like to ping your blog post?
In blogging, ping is an XML-RPC-based push mechanism by which a weblog notifies a server that its content has been updated. What methods do you like to apply to notify the search engines that you have updated your blog?
When I was actively blogging previously, yes I ping my blog daily. Nowadays I hardly do it anymore. What I noticed from ping-ing is it has very less effect if you are looking at short term advantages. In a long run, yes it is much better and it brings your blog up (in some ways).
