   Do you usually get this captcha thing when logging in to HP?

   I have never gotten a captcha when logging into hubpages.
   
   But I do have a theory of why you might be getting them. Do you sign in from different IP addresses ?
   Some sites use extra security measures if you login from different IP addresses, I always log in from the same ip which could explain my not getting a captcha popup.
   
   PS: This is just a theory

      ketage, thanks for your input. Glad you do not get it. It is annoying. Recently, I have been logging in from same IP and have been seeing it. Luckily, it is not a day to day thing.

      I agree with him. Even though I have not come across once, I think it is an extra security measure. It may also occur if you put in your username or password incorrectly more than 2wice, consecutively.

   I've never got it either. I have my HP profile saved as one of my favorites. Once I click on it then I sign in.

    No, I have never got a captcha (so far!) What does happen is that sometimes my user name appears already up and I just have to add my password, and sometimes I have to enter everything. I think you ought to report this, if you are not changing your IP address constantly, then it could be a glitch. Wish you luck!

       Thanks joanveronica, it could be a glitch cause I do not not see why they think am  a robot. Seams lots of people do not get this nuisance.
