Who visualises when goal setting?
I am a great believer in visualising for goal setting and planning. I do wonder though if it is just wishful thinking or daydreaming. I am interested to hear about your successes and experiences on the subject. I find it works equally if not better at manifesting things I don't want to happen more than what I do want to happen. Tell me what you think.
I try to as best I can. We cannot expect every situation, but we can do our best. A few goals that were accomplished with visualizing include bachelors, masters, getting married, boating license, etc.
Visualization works very well for me. I had published two paperback books and I visualized the final product before doing it. That helped me with the design phase, especially the cover presentation. It also helps me reach my goal, knowing what I want to accomplish in a visual way.
When my husband had open heart surgery, I visualized seeing a smile on his face and success as an outcome of this procedure. I also used meditation as a part of my goal of self help along with prayer.
