   I love spending time at home.  I went out last night anyway.  The beer is much cheaper here at home.

    I haven't even left work yet!! Overtime.
    
    But meeting up with friends later for movie and maybe dinner...haven't really got a plan yet.
    Plotting a big birthday bash also. Aging is not convenient. Blood clots in my legs are not what I expected after sitting endless hours in front of  this screen!!! Good thing they are superficial. Nonetheless, painful buggars....
    
    That's why I'm going out. To celebrate not having a stroke or heartattack.

          Thanks. It was a real wake up call. I get stuck in my chair for hours and can't feel my legs when I get up and so I've already climbed about 20 stories of stairs, and gone for a 20 minute walk. Have to keep that up every day.
          
          I should take up being an exotic dancer at night. That would keep the blood circulating.

    I'm relaxing on my leather arm-chair by the fireplace with Lucille by my side (my dog) and my laptop on my.... well... lap! Crackles and pops from the fireplace, the occasional groan from Lucille, and the sound of Jethro Tull's "Locomotive Breath" slowly sounding from the speakers...

    I've always made a point of reflecting on Friday evenings of my week and what I could have done better or should have done more of.  I spend this time in solitude for the meditation in it's silence brings me peace.
    
    I have done this for years and it prepares me for Saturday evening to have a change and a fucking wild night of booze, sex, porn,drugs, did I say porn? for the start of a 4 day binge
