What's with the "No Longer Published" notifications when I attempt to access someone's newest Hub?
This morning, as has been the case several mornings, I click on a notification from HubPages in my email inbox about a fellow Hubber's new post. What comes up is a NO LONGER PUBLISHED notification. Can anyone tell me why HubPages goes to the trouble of notifying me about a new Hub, only to cancel that Hub? Thank you to anyone and everyone who can provide me with an answer to this.
I once hit the "publish" button instead of the "done editing" one and had to go back and unpublish until I could finish it. I don't know if that's what happened here.
Joe, it could be the writer unpublished it or HP had a problem with some aspect of it. I have seen that happen before. It may reappear.
I couldn't answer this with the answer this question button, so here I am. Computer stuff maybe. I have gotten that too, but went back and tried again and it was indeed published. Sorry xstatic for taking your space.
Thank you, Jim, for responding. I'm going to see if I can find that person's name again, something with the word POET in it, and try to get a better understanding as to what might have happened. I want to see if he or she knows it even happened.
Hello my friend.
The author could have chosen to unpublish or it may have been flagged and unpublished by the HP team for violation of rules.
Hope you are well H and doing a great trade in ebay selling
Thank you very much for your response, Anne. I'm well, thank you, and have just returned from a 5-mile walk. The weather is great over here. How about where you're at? Aloha and blessings!
Aloha bacatcha weather variable at the moment and we have just had the gota fria..cold drops..lots of rain, but it´s been a lovely day today. Thank you.
I suspect this is a courtesy of HP to alert you that someone you are following either has unpublished his or her own hub or that HP has done it for them. It probably is a computer related thing.
The hubber could be doing some work on the hub or maybe they just took it down, you could probably check later to see if it reappears..
What amazes and sometimes infuriates me is not only when the hub is no longer published but the hubber has been banned! Sometimes the hubber is new so I can't understand how they got banned to quickly.
We're an upscale community I guess

I have a few of my hubs copied right now and have the little 'C' by their title telling me that the hub has been copied... but I don't see anything else. I've sent out DMCA notices for these hubs, but till the...

Thanks to ThatMommyBlogger for finding this site and bringing it up in another thread. I think it deserves its own thread to warn HP writers. It looks like a site called 2uidea-dot-com is taking newly published hubs and...

How do you feel when some of your comments on various hubs are never responded to by the author?Once in a while I'll write a thoughtful comment, which I've put some real research into, and which may (or may not)...

The layout change removed the listing of top hubbers. I always enjoyed reading what the top hubbers published. Maybe a layout modification is in order. Top, hot, and latest hubs are still available.
