    Why Are My Hubscore 70+ Before Posting?

    I read somewhere that hubs start with a score of 45 - 55, but many of my hubs have a score of 70 or higher right at publishing, such as a list of idioms I posted today.  Why is this?

    I have noticed this myself and the only thing I can think of is that as soon as you (start a hub) HPs internal SEO system goes to work on optimizing it according to your title and possible content. The longer you wait to publish it simply has no factor on the score as the SEO process is the determining factor. I started a new hub with just a title about 6mts back and it is still there in the 60s even with no content. (HP dont flag it. I will get back to it eventually)

    I'm not an expert but I believe this will have something to do with the content of the hub. An article with a higher word count or lots of content will be higher rated than other articles.

      I'd thought so too, but some seem to "incubate" and get higher as I leave them.  Hm...
