How do I stop hitting a brick wall with denials from the Ad Program?

Should I be concerned with the fact that my applications to the Ad Program are continuously being denied? Without that approval, I cannot get started with the eBay Program either. This saddens me a little.

Having looked at your hubs there seems nothing wrong with the topics or content but there are only 6 or so hubs you've done so far and would suggest the very minimum before applying for Ad Sense or Hubpages ad program is 10-15 hubs. Some would say 20+ hubs before you apply for it.

Google likes  a decent amount of content and for it to be active for a longer period as you have joined quite recently (2 weeks ago). I would say produce 10-15 hubs and then reapply once you have been here for at least a month.

Hope it helps and let me know how you get on:-)

Thank you for this helpful little tidbit. I have many ideas in my head for more Hubs. As soon as finals are over, I will have more time to do all the thorough research for my next one. I appreciate your comment, Souther29!

I'm still pretty new here and haven't applied for AdSense yet (only 11 hubs so far). I've heard that it is particularly difficult to get an account with recipe hubs, so aiming for 20+ hubs before you reapply or adding some hubs in other topic categories is probably the right way to go.

Thank you Amber for letting me know. I have many ideas swimming around in my head of other things to write about and post. I will of course start with one of them and see how it goes. They will not all be recipes! smile Thanks again for your comment.
